With an unreserved regard to The Youth Initiative for Advocacy, Growth & Advancement (YIAGA AFRICA), the protagonists of the NotTooYoungToRun project, President Buhari’s assent to the Age Reduction Bill has been deemed as having an open-ended effect.

Although faced with similar challenges as other marginalized groups, the Bill avails a perfect opportunity for young women to surmount some of these challenges faced by their older generation within Country’s political system.
Putting this differently, as women and young women continue to battle for political space where decisions that affect are made, the Nigerian Women’s Trust Fund urges every young woman in politics to seize the moment to charter in more effective dimensions through being card carrying members of any political party and the establishment of more support groups for women at grassroots communities.
