The Women Fund held a 1-day leadership training at Bida Polytechnic, Bida on  the 2nd of December 2015.  The training is one of the activities lined up in order to ensure an effective execution of the Young Women Leaders Project sponsored by National Endowment for Democracy (NED).

The Young Women Leaders Project aim at preparing young women for community organizing and legislator engagement and to build in them leadership proficiency and strategic propensity to be responsive and responsible leaders who can engage the political system and subsequently contest and win elections in the future. Some of the training sessions entail lectures and interactions on public speaking, community organizing, being an effective leader and so on.

The training ended successfully with selected participants showing enthusiastic inclinations for politics and governance.
